The Walmart Museum Heritage Lab is open 9am - 7pm Monday through Saturday, Sunday noon - 6pm.

The Walmart Museum Heritage Lab

The Walmart Museum, including Walton’s 5&10, is closed while they undergo an extensive renovation.

During the renovation, to ensure there is as little disruption as possible, we are excited to welcome visitors to our temporary home at The Walmart Museum Heritage Lab.

We’ve created this temporary location to share our story. We call it our “Lab” because it’s where we test new technologies, new exhibits, and new ways to share Walmart’s heritage. As you go through the Lab space, take your time to try new things and to share your thoughts with us so that the “new Walmart Museum” on the square can be the best that it can be.

Lab Highlights

In addition to interactive touchscreens and fascinating artifacts, the lab also has some special exhibits for you to enjoy, such as:

  • Mr. Sam the Hologram
  • Interactive Globe
  • For Kids: Draw your own trucker’s badge
  • For Kids of All Ages: View the LEGO model of the 5&10 or try our fun scavenger hunt

Shop

Due to limited space in the lab, we will not have merchandise for sale, but look forward to its return in the newly renovated museum. In the mean time, check out the SparkShop for all your shopping needs.

Ice Cream

And for those craving something sweet, The Spark Café has moved into its temporary, mobile home right on the southwest corner of the Bentonville Square, right across the street from the original location!
